Kindergarten

Children of the first year of kindergarten start in September after completing 4 years of age. Kindergarten implements a two-year program.

The Kindergarten curriculum adopts the Official Common Core Standards and the Basic Knowledge Sequence Model, and the objective behind the application of the Basic Knowledge is to provide simple and powerful levels of learning. The school is interested in teaching computer science to kindergarten.

The school applies the Ministry of Education curricula. An integrated approach to the curriculum ensures that Arabic, English, mathematics, science, social studies, arts and physical education are taught and core skills are taught through a variety of subjects that can then be used in broader educational settings.

Ashbal Al-Quds Secondary Private School places great importance on students by engaging them in innovative learning strategies that stem primarily from students' interests and guide them to become qualified in the future.

The kindergarten core knowledge sequencing model is based on five areas of learning:

• Physical well-being and motor development.

• Social and emotional development.

• Learning approach.

• Language development.

• Acquisition of knowledge and knowledge development.
